Submission & Deliverables

- Contractual Documents: Considered 'issued' when deposited in mail, transmitted by fax, or sent by electronic commerce (e.g., email).
- Deliverable: A Certificate of Compliance (DI-MISC-81356) is required at the time of material delivery, submitted to NAVSUP-WSS code N9433. A separate certificate is needed for each unique combination of Contract/Purchase Order Number, National Stock Number, and Item Nomenclature.
- Waivers/Deviations: Requests for delivery date extensions or waivers/deviations must be identified in advance, accompanied by justification, and submitted to the Government Quality Assurance Representative (QAR).

- Quality Assurance: Contractors must maintain an inspection system acceptable to the Government.
- Packaging: MIL-PRF-23199 and MIL-DTL-24466 green poly bags apply for cleanliness control. MIL-STD 2073 packaging is also applicable. Fire retardant packaging is no longer required.
