Scope of Work
OMAO requires a new fast response boat (17-19ft) to replace the aging NOAA HRN 1716 on the NOAA Ship Oregon II. The replacement boat must be compatible with the existing Schat-Harding Miranda Davit (Model MRT 3900) and Winch (Model BHY 5300). Key requirements include:
- Design: Rigid Hull (GRP or Aluminum), International Orange color, SOLAS approved.
- Performance: Capable of operating for at least 4 hours at 6 knots, achieving plane (15-17kts) with two persons and equipment.
