INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE: RESIDENCY MANAGEMENT SUITE SOFTWARE
This is a notice of intent to sole source. The 59th Medical Wing (Joint Base San Antonio, TX) has a need for specific, proprietary software, entitled Residency Management Suite. This software unifies program and resident information into a centralized data warehouse. It allows users to complete tasks historically performed using multiple, incompatible methods through a web-based interface. Use of this software supports Brook Army Medical Center (BAMC) and Wilford Hall Ambulatory Service Center (WHASC) in meeting Accreditation Council Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) accrediting body requirements and track compliance of 36 Graduate Medical Education (GME) and 22 Graduate Allied Health programs, with over 700 residents and fellows annually. This product provides accreditation tracking tools both at the program and institutional level as well as complex GME work hours tracking, evaluations, etc. that are needed for accreditation. Importantly, the historical data available through the web-based platform are critical to continuation of accreditation. Without licenses for this software, the military medical community would experience a loss of over 300 graduates per year that would otherwise go to serve operational forces. As a result of the nature of this requirement, there is an intent to sole source to Qgenda, LLC for a period of 12 months from the date of award. The estimated value of this action is $97,000, and award is anticipated by 31 December 2025.
Responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which shall considered by the Defense Health Agency (DHA). Earlier responses are appreciated.
