This Request for Quotations (RFQ) seeks proposals for residential furniture leasing services for the U.S. Embassy in Canberra, the U.S. Consulate General in Sydney, and the U.S. Consulate General in Melbourne, Australia. The government intends to award a contract to the responsible company submitting the technically acceptable offer at the lowest price.

• Provision of residential furniture leasing services.

• Furniture must be new or like-new, free from defects, and comply with Australian Standards.

• Contractor is responsible for acquisition, storage, insurance, maintenance, transportation, delivery, pick-up, packing, installation, and removal of all furniture and packing materials.

• Specific aesthetic and quality standards for furniture are detailed, emphasizing modern, Scandinavian, or Coastal styles with neutral tones and durable materials.

• Contractor must provide a comprehensive price list.

• Contract type: Firm-fixed-price, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ).

• Period of Performance: One base year with two (2) one-year options.

• Minimum Guarantee: AUD $20,000.00.

• Currency: All prices to be stated in Australian Dollars.

• Value Added Tax (GST) is not included and must be priced as a separate line item.

• Pre-proposal conference: Monday, June 8, 2026, at 14:00 (AEST). Registration required by June 5, 2026.

• Quotations must be submitted electronically to sydcontracts@state.gov.

• Submission Deadline: Monday, July 6, 2026, by 12:00 noon (AEST).

• Evaluation Factors: Award will be made to the lowest priced, acceptable, responsible offeror. Acceptability will be determined by compliance with technical requirements and quality standards. Responsibility will be assessed based on FAR 9.1 criteria.

• Offerors must submit a completed SF-1449, Section 1C (Pricing), and Attachment 1 (Schedule of Items and Furniture Adjustments).

• The acquisition is unrestricted.

• Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to proposal submission.

• Attachment 1: Schedule of Items (Tab 1) and Furniture Adjustments (Tab 2).

• Attachment 2: Mission Public Holidays.

• Attachment 3: Examples of Furniture.

• The government may hold discussions if deemed necessary.
