Scope of Work

• Quality Assurance: Establishment and maintenance of an inspection system acceptable to the Government, with records available for review.
• Mercury Exclusion: Strict prohibition of mercury or mercury-containing compounds in hardware or supplies.

Key Requirements & Deliverables

• First Article Test/Inspection: Contractor to conduct on five units as per IRPOD requirements, submitting a report via DD Form 1423.
• Certificate of Compliance (DI-MISC-81356): Required at the time of material delivery (EOC), with a separate certificate for each unique combination of Contract/PO, NSN, and Item Nomenclature.
• Procedure Package (DI-QCIC-8871): Submit for approval within 45 days after contract award (045 DAC), including all applicable procedures, drawings, and pre-manufacturing submittals detailed in the IRPOD.
• Report Package (DI-NDTI-80809): Submittal requirements as specified in IRPOD, paragraph 6.1. Authorization to start production or ship material must be obtained from the PCO. Resubmittal within 45 days of disapproval.
• Packaging: Adherence to MIL-PRF-23199 and MIL-STD 2073, with specific clarifications for MIL-DTL-24466 green poly bags if cleanliness controls are invoked. Fire retardant packaging is no longer required.

Important Notes

• Pricing Validity: Quotations are valid for 60 days after the closing date unless otherwise specified.
• Document Precedence: In case of conflict, amendments take precedence, followed by the schedule of supplies, terms and conditions, IRPOD, STRs, drawings, and specifications.
• Waivers/Deviations: Requests for non-conformance or delivery date extensions must be justified and demonstrate no adverse impact on quality, form, fit, or function.
