Request for Information / Sources Sought Notice

This RFI/Sources Sought notice is issued by the Department of the Interior (DOI), Interior Business Center (IBC) for market research purposes. The government is seeking information on the availability and pricing of Cisco Hardware, Software, and Installation Services to inform a potential future solicitation for an enterprise-wide Cisco solution.

• Hardware: Vendors must provide a comprehensive commercial equipment list for Cisco-branded hardware, including commercial list prices, model numbers, PID/VID, and percentage discount from catalogue pricing. A URL to an authorized Cisco catalog with discount information is also acceptable.

• Software/Services: A draft Required Product List is provided as Attachment 1 for completion.

• Installation Services: Information is requested on vendor capabilities to support nationwide installation or replacement of Cisco equipment across approximately 2,700 DOI locations (CONUS and OCONUS). This includes requirements for:

  • A brief description of the requirement (SOO, SOW, or PWS).
  • Current state of equipment and operational environment.
  • Relevant Terms and Conditions (FAR, DOI, Local Clauses).
  • Required schedule, coordination, and mission-specific requirements.

• National and OCONUS Field Technician Coverage: Ability to deploy technicians nationwide, including access to cleared personnel.

• Cisco-Certified Technical Expertise: Technicians with relevant Cisco certifications and experience in installing Cisco infrastructure.

• Logistics and Asset Management: Capability to receive, store, stage, ship Cisco equipment, and manage asset tracking.

• Project Management Infrastructure: Dedicated program management for nationwide rollouts, use of industry-standard tools, and site readiness assessments.

• 24/7 Help Desk and Deployment Support: Tiered support structure and real-time support during critical cutovers.

• Scalability and Surge Capacity: Ability to handle high-volume deployments and access to subcontractors.

• Response Deadline: April 10, 2026, 5:00 pm Eastern Time.

• Format: Capability statement (max 10 pages) in PDF and Microsoft Excel (.xlsx) files.

• Evaluation: This is for information gathering only; responses will not be evaluated for award. No costs will be reimbursed.

• Vendors should indicate their business size category (Large Business, Small Business, SDB, WOSB, HUBZone, etc.).

• Small businesses may include the expertise of large business partners under a teaming arrangement.

• Vendors should indicate if they are a Cisco Authorized Reseller and their Cisco Partner designation.
