Scope of Work (Based on DRAFT Statement of Objectives)

The objective is to secure an environmental monitoring capability that ensures continuous pharmaceutical storage integrity. Key requirements include:

  • Maintaining controlled room temperature storage conditions (20°C–25°C).
  • Providing real-time remote temperature monitoring and door opening alarm notifications.
  • Ensuring regulatory compliance (e.g., FDA cGMP, 21 CFR Parts 11 and 211, USP guidance, NIST calibration standards).
  • Operating reliably across diverse facility environments with an integrated environmental monitoring capability.
  • Meeting high performance standards, including system uptime ≥ 99.5%, alarm notification ≤ 5 minutes, and temperature sensor accuracy ±0.5°C.
  • The system must be resilient with redundancy and backup capabilities, operating independently of facility IT unless authorized.
  • Government ownership and unrestricted access to monitoring data, with secure storage and retention for the contract duration.
  • 24/7 technical support and specific transition requirements to maintain monitoring continuity with minimal interruption.
