Quick Summary
The Marine Corps Forces Special Operations Command (MARSOC) Contracting Office is conducting market research through this Request for Information (RFI) / Sources Sought for Direct Action Training Support. The purpose is to identify companies capable of providing qualified Direct Action Instructors and Support Staff to the MARSOC Marine Raider Training Center (MRTC) in Sneads Ferry, NC. This is for planning and informational purposes only and is not a solicitation. Responses are due by February 2, 2026.
Scope of Work
The requirement is for manpower augmentation, both full-time and episodic, to support Direct Action training. Contractors will be integrated with Government cadre, primarily focusing on execution with assistance in curriculum editing. Key roles such as Episodic DA SME, Combat Marksmanship Instructor, and Direct-Action Instructor require an Active Secret Clearance at the time of contract award. The Government will provide essential equipment including weapons, optics, ammunition, safety gear, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The Q&A clarifies that equivalent courses or comparable instructor experience for Special Operations CQB requirements will generally not be accepted.

Interested companies must provide:
- Company information (Name, Address, Point of Contact, CAGE Code, Facility Clearance Information, Phone Number, Email Address).
- A capabilities statement (not to exceed 10 pages) demonstrating:
- Experience providing training and exercise support to MARSOC or equivalent military organizations.
- Recruitment process for skilled SOF-experienced training and exercise support staff.
- A list of relevant past or current contracts.
- Any comments, recommended changes, or questions regarding the attached draft Statement of Work (SOW).
Evaluation & Impact
Responses will help MARSOC determine if a follow-on Request for Quote (RFQ) will be restricted to small businesses. The Government will review and consider contractor-suggested changes to the SOW to improve efficiency and reduce costs. The Q&A emphasizes strict qualification standards, particularly for SOF CQB, and the need for active secret clearances for certain roles at contract award.
