Purpose & Scope
This RFI seeks to gauge industry interest, capabilities, and qualifications from both small and large businesses for the manufacture of 10 units, with an option for an additional 10 (total 20). The potential acquisition will require IUID, ISO 9001:2015 or equivalent, FOB Destination, and Military B Packaging. The NAICS code for this effort is 336320 (Motor Vehicle Electrical and Electronic Equipment Manufacturing).
Technical Data & Access
A Distribution D, Export Controlled Technical Data Package (TDP) is available. Access requires valid certification under the United States / Canada Joint Certification Program (JCP). Firms must register or re-register via the DLA JCP website, a process that can take several weeks.
Submission Requirements
Interested firms should submit the following information via email to Zachary Wiegand:

- CAGE Code (must be valid in SAM)
- Point of Contact (name, phone, email)
- Company business size status (small or large, verifiable in SAM if small)
- Summary of manufacturing expertise for the part
- Summary of delivery capability
- Place of performance
- Confirmation of NAICS code appropriateness
- Confirmation if commercial or noncommercial buy
- Estimate of production lead time and monthly delivery rate
Response Details
This is for Government planning only; it is not a request for proposals, and no contract will be awarded based on responses. The Government will not reimburse costs for preparing responses. The intended set-aside for a potential future acquisition is Total Small Business, but all firms, regardless of size, are encouraged to respond to this RFI.
