Quick Summary

The Department of the Air Force (DAF), specifically the Air Education and Training Command (AETC) / Air Force Security Assistance Training (AFSAT), is conducting market research through a Request for Information (RFI) for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) – Space Systems Training Capability Assessment. The purpose is to identify potential sources and gather information on capabilities related to aircrew, maintenance, and support services training for space systems. This RFI is for planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation. Capability Statements are due by February 5, 2026.

Scope of Work

AFSAT, as the executive agent for Air Force international training, seeks information on commercially available training courses for space systems under the FMS program. The desired courses span various levels, including foundational, intermediate, advanced, executive-level, and specialized technical training. Topics include orbital mechanics, satellite operations, space system design, space situational awareness, space domain awareness, space-based ISR, space cybersecurity, electromagnetic spectrum operations, and emerging technologies like AI in space operations and resilient space architectures. Training may be conducted at a partner nation facility (OCONUS) or the contractor's location (CONUS). The Government will not provide, purchase, or develop courseware.
