The Government is interested in receiving information on industry best practices and recommendations for contract and program management; specifically what concepts and models could best support changes to the attached performance work statement (PWS), shifting from an overarching compilation of efforts into tailored contract structures that maximize mission and program management performance.

Update on current status of this opportunity posted 17 June 2024. There is no need to respond to this status, it is purely for information purposes:
The Government is analyzing potential changes to the contract strategy used for NISSC II, starting with the Government side of the strategy. This may involve changes to number or scope of contracts, different Government Wide contract, or other changes compared to NISSC II. The Government anticipates releasing a sources sought on a TBD Government Wide contract vehicle to establish these anticipated changes from NISSC II. We will be inviting discussions with industry at that time, including companies on or off the selected vehicle, and anticipate that discussion opportunities will continue throughout the acquisition process.
Anticipated NAICS has not been determined yet. The Government anticipates encouraging maximum teaming with the prime sustainment contract, so the selected NAICS would only apply to the prime – proposed subcontractors would fall under other proposed NAICS.
NEW DETAILS: NISSC II follow on/ Solicitation Number FA872324R0003 is no longer valid for the NISSC II follow on effort. Instead there are two solicitation efforts:
- FA8723-24-R-0014 which is North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) Cheyenne Mountain Complex (NCMC) – Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment (NCMC-ITW/AA) And Space Support Contract II (NISSC 2) Follow-on (N2FO) Operations, Maintenance, and Sustainment (OM&S)"

- FA8723-24-R-0013 which is the 21 comm O&M Sources Sought Announcements for both efforts have been issued to Alliant 2.
