RFI OFFICE FURNITURE GROUP SPACE PLAN AND DESIGN

Request for Information (RFI)

UNICOR, Federal Prison Industries (FPI) is seeking information regarding potential contractors to provide Space Plan and Design services for its Office Furniture Group (OFG). This RFI is for market research purposes to develop an acquisition strategy and will not result in a contract award of any type. All information provided is considered confidential.

• Provide design and space planning services for UNICOR's Office Furniture Group product offering.

• Work with UNICOR's sales and marketing vendors daily.

• Designers must be qualified by NCIDQ and provide their license number.

• Services include project planning, programming, space planning, furniture and finish specification, customer communication, design deliverables, drawings, and bill of materials.

• Provide De-Installation/Installation quoting, including site surveys, product listings, and drawings.

• Offer layout services, including interior design, space planning, and furniture consultation.

• Manage project budgets, schedules, and reporting.

• Provide design/space planning services for the Continental United States, Alaska, Puerto Rico, Hawaii, and other OCONUS locations.

• Adhere to specific lead times for site visits (72 hours), initial drawings (10 days after site visit), and final Bill of Materials (10 days after plan approval).

• This is an RFI; responses are not offers.

• UNICOR may add services to a future contract via modification.

• Pricing information is requested based on US Department of Labor Wage Determination and specific service categories (e.g., DC Region, Other Regions, OCONUS, with/without site visits).

• Offerors must provide an hourly rate for specific additional services.

• FPI intends to award a single contract based on this requirement.

• Offerors must ensure designers can pass security requirements, including an NCIC check.

• Services are required for the Continental United States, Alaska, Puerto Rico, Hawaii, and other OCONUS locations.

• This is an RFI, not an offer, and will not result in a contract of any type.
