Scope of Work
The RFI seeks potential contractors to provide design and space planning services for UNICOR's Office Furniture Group product offerings, including existing and new products. Successful offerors will work daily with UNICOR's sales and marketing vendors. Key requirements include:
- Designers: Must be qualified by the National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) and provide license numbers.
- Services: Project planning, communication, programming, space planning, furniture and finish specifications, customer communications, design deliverables, drawings, and Bill of Materials (BOMs).
- Installation Support: Provide De-Installation/Installation quoting, including site surveys and statement of work packets for UNICOR installation contracting.
- Layout Services: Comprehensive interior design, space planning, and furniture consultation, including evaluation of customer requirements, design solution formulation, detailed plan development, and documentation.
- Management Support: Comprehensive management for design, reconfiguration, relocation, and downsizing of office spaces.
- Product Maximization: Project designs must maximize the inclusion of all FPI products (systems furniture, seating, case goods, metal products).
- Quality Assurance: Conduct QA checks before issuing BOMs and drawings.
- Geographic Coverage: Services required for the Continental United States, Alaska, Puerto Rico, Hawaii, and other OCONUS locations, covering National Capital Region, West, Central, and East regions.
- Lead Times: Site visits within 72 hours, initial drawings within 10 calendar days (up to 50 workstations), Final BOM within 10 calendar days after customer approval.
Contract Details
This is strictly a Request for Information (RFI) and will not result in a contract of any type. UNICOR will not reimburse respondents for any costs incurred in preparing their responses. All submitted responses become the property of UNICOR. The intent is to award a single contract if a solicitation follows. Pricing for services will be based on the US Department of Labor Wage Determination and vary by region and type of plan (e.g., with/without site visit, prepared/unprepared). OCONUS travel will be reimbursed per GSA regulations. Set-aside is not applicable as this is an RFI.
