The AN/GLM-11 (V) 2, the Universal Test Set (UTS), provides a rapid go/no-go evaluation for all U.S. dismounted and mounted Counter Radio-Controlled Improvised Explosive Device Electronic Warfare (CREW) systems. This test set provides the warfighter a rapid and easy method to verify the proper operation of a CREW system prior to deploying. The AN/GLM-11(V) 2 provides the operational/field level capability suitable for performing these tests. The AN/GLM-11 (V) 2 is capable of detecting CREW systems faults that would otherwise go undetected and thus could allow personnel to enter into dangerous situations without the protection of properly functioning CREW systems.
