Scope of Work
The project involves a turn-key solution for office and customer space modifications, primarily focusing on the renovation of the Butler Building and a portion of the F Building. Key requirements include:
- F Building Work: Selective demolition, removal of existing HVAC, modification of electrical/data drops, and reinstallation of suspended lights and fire suppression systems. This building will be transformed into a service/maintenance shop.
- Butler Building Work: Demolition of non-structural walls, interior and exterior renovation, installation of new roofing, siding, windows, doors, electrical distribution, HVAC, water/sewer services, data drops, fire suppression, fire alarm, and wireless access points. This will create new offices, a lab space, map review room, locker rooms, showers, and cubicle areas.
- Physical Access Control System (PACS): Installation of a new, standalone PACS at the Butler Building, compatible with PIV Government IDs.
- Water Filter Installation: Installation of a water filter in the G135 Mechanical Room.
- Option Item: Replacement of three (3) garage door operators for the F Building.
- General Requirements: Turn-key design-build services, project management, coordination, scheduling, and compliance with all applicable codes and regulations.
Visual aids for the scope include partial floor plans for the G Lab (plumbing/mechanical), Butler Building (conceptual layout), and the F Building (area of work).
Contract Details
- Contract Type: Anticipated Firm Fixed Price Contract.
