Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

• Gypsum Board Assemblies: Installation and repair of drywall and related materials.
• Roofing: Inspection and minor repairs to roofs, gutters, and drains.
• Safety Equipment: Inspection of fire extinguishers, smoke detectors, and installation of earthquake-proof latches.

The services are for properties located in Residencial Los Bambues, Santo Domingo. The duration of each project will depend on the scope of work and identified deficiencies.

• Contractors must provide qualified technicians with relevant experience.
• An English-speaking representative must be designated.
• All work must comply with applicable local and industry standards, with the stricter of the two applying.
• Specific paint brands, colors, and application methods are detailed.

Solicitation / RFP / RFQ

This document is a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for "Make Ready Services" for the U.S. Embassy in Santo Domingo. The government intends to award a contract to the responsible company submitting an acceptable offer at the lowest price.

The "Make Ready Services" encompass a wide range of tasks for residential units, including but not limited to:

• Painting (exterior walls, interior walls, ceilings, damaged bathtub surfaces)

• Waterproofing

• Janitorial and cleaning services

• Floor polishing

• Plumbing services (drain cleaning, faucet replacement, pipe repair, etc.)

• Electrical services (light bulb replacement, fixture replacement, wiring, etc.)

• HVAC services (duct cleaning, filter replacement, etc.)

• Carpentry services (cabinet repair, mirror replacement, shelf installation, door repair, etc.)

• Roofing services (leak repair, gutter repair)

• Drywall and plaster repair

• Stucco repair

• Carpet replacement and cleaning

• Masonry services

• Gardening services

• General mechanical services

• Safety equipment services

• This is an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract.

• The contract period of performance is one year from the date of award.

• The U.S. Government guarantees a minimum order of USD $12,500.00.

• The maximum amount of services ordered under the contract will not exceed USD $115,000.00.

• Prices shall be in Dominican Pesos (DOP).

• The Government will not reimburse the Contractor for Value Added Tax (VAT).

• Quotations must be submitted via email to SantoDomingoContracts@state.gov.

• The deadline for submission is April 27, 2026, at 4:30 PM.

• Required submission items include: SF-1449, Section B (Pricing), Section K (Representations and Certifications), and additional information as required in Section L.

• Award will be based on the lowest priced, technically acceptable, responsible offeror.

• The government may award based on initial offers without discussions, but may hold discussions if needed.
