Quick Summary

The US Geological Survey (USGS), Department of Interior, is seeking Graphic Designer Services through a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This opportunity is for a single-award Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract to create illustrations and graphics for risk-related information products. Scope of Work

The contractor will provide graphic design services to develop web-based illustrations, infographics, and printable materials. These services are crucial for creating a cohesive look and feel for risk-related information products for the Hazard Ready Nation, Office of Risk and Resilience (ORR), and the Strategic Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (SHIRA) project. The goal is to translate complex science into actionable information to inform public safety decision-making. Deliverables include approximately 18 illustrations for various web pages (Home, About, Tools) and general graphics, provided in high-resolution formats (JPEG, TIFF, PNG). All work must be compliant with Section 508 accessibility standards and undergo color-contrast testing. Content must accurately represent concepts, accommodate existing SharePoint labels, and align with the ORR and SHIRA teams' aesthetic, aiming for straightforward, compelling, clean, crisp, calming, and inspiring designs.
