Scope of Work
The contractor shall provide all plant, labor, material, design, and supervision for the delivery of approximately 16,410 tons of Graded Crushed Aggregate Base Course (GCA). The GCA must conform to Uniform Guide Specifications (UFGS) 32.11.23 and AASHTO #57, consisting of clean, sound, durable particles free of silt and clay. Design must adhere to Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) and Avon Park Air Force Range Design Standards. Delivery is expected in pre-coordinated intervals between May 2026 and July 2026 to the vicinity of Avon Park, FL. The contractor is responsible for field and laboratory quality control testing, with specific tests required for every 2,500 tons of GCA. Submittals for approval include various geotechnical tests.
