Scope of Work
This project is a multi-contract effort to protect communities in Toa Baja and Dorado from frequent river flooding. Supplemental Contract 1 includes:
- Construction of four major features: East Levee, West Levee, Channel widening with slope and scour protection, and four culvert structures (3A, 6A, 7, and 11).
- Several minor features for interior and exterior drainage, such as culverts and drainage swales.
- Ancillary work including clearing, grubbing, temporary construction crossings, material disposal, traffic controls, demolition, cultural resource protection, water control, and utility relocations.

- Type: Request for Proposal (RFP) leading to a single Firm Fixed Price (FFP) construction contract.
