Technical Specifications Road Salt1. 14,000 net tons (estimated) quantity for the season. The Government will order in 2,000 net ton increments as needed throughout the ordering period (01 Nov 2025-31 October 2026).2. White irregular granules 2 % greater than 0.5 millimeters and 2% less than 0.5 millimeters. Loads with lumps and clumps will be rejected. 3. Material shall be delivered in bulk in self-unloading tractor trailer (flow boy) style, no dump trailers. All loads must be enclosed or tarped. Bagged salt is not acceptable. 4. Delivered to 4000 Yard Building T-4021 1st West Street Fort Drum New York, 13602. 5. The Government will execute orders on an as-needed basis. Government representative will advise of on demand delivery by email with a starting response of no more than 48 hours after the email is sent. Delivery shall be complete within 10 business days (Mondays through Fridays excluding federal holidays) of order. 6. Delivery times Monday thru Friday 6:00 AM EST through 3:00 PM EST excluding federal holidays
