Quick Summary
The Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) is soliciting quotations for the procurement of a Rohde & Schwarz Vector Signal Generator (Part Number 1412.0000.02) and associated modules. This is a brand-name, sole-source acquisition under FAR 6.103-1(b) due to compatibility requirements with existing R&S hardware. Award will be made on a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) basis among authorized resellers. Quotations are due by May 28, 2026.
Scope of Work
NSWCDD intends to procure specific products manufactured by Rohde and Schwarz USA, Incorporated. The requirement includes one Vector Signal Generator (Model 7102 - B010447 trade-in) and multiple modules/accessories, such as frequency range extensions, wideband baseband modules, additional white Gaussian noise, and various pulse generation/sequencing options. The sole-source justification is based on the compatibility of Rohde & Schwarz hardware and software with existing systems, stating that other manufacturers would cause unacceptable program delays and fail to meet mission requirements.
