Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To provide non-personal services for designing, fabricating, and installing biocontainment enclosures at three overhead coiling doors within the National Bio and Agro-Defense Facility (NBAF) in Manhattan, KS.

• Design, fabricate, and install biocontainment enclosures for three specific overhead coiling doors (EDS G.033.a, TTA G.021.a, and TTA G.032.b).

• Enclosures must seal to all four edges of the opening, withstand negative air pressure, and allow for equipment and personnel passage.

• Key design requirements include passive particulate filtration (≥99.97% efficiency), robust sealing, a minimum 8-foot opening for equipment transfer, floor material capable of withstanding >2000 lbs traffic, and ease of entry/egress.

• Training: Site-specific training (minimum 2 hours) is required for contractor personnel prior to access.

• Digital Media: Prohibition of personal devices for photography/videography; use of GFE with prior authorization and permits required. Media must be stored securely and sanitized/destroyed upon contract completion.

• Government Furnished: Sponsorship for local badges, electricity, and water will be provided. Government review periods for submittals are 14 days for approval and 7 days for information only.
