Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

This Performance Work Statement (PWS) outlines the requirements for providing Roman Catholic Priest services for the 35th Fighter Wing (FW) at Misawa Air Base, Japan.

• Provide religious and spiritual leadership to meet the needs of Catholic military personnel, their family members, and other authorized personnel.

• Coordinate efforts with Chaplain Corps personnel and work within a multi-denominational and pluralistic religious environment.

• Services must align with Roman Catholic Archdiocese for the Military Services (AMS) faith requirements.

• The contract includes a 12-month base year and four (4) one-year option periods, totaling up to five years.

• Volunteers: Recruit, organize, and train volunteers from the Catholic Community.

• Government Furnished Property (GFP): Includes private office space, computer, office supplies, printing, copier, projector, and limited use of media players. Limited military transportation may be available.

• Security: Compliance with base access, identification, traffic laws, and prohibition of weapons is required. Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) protocols must be followed.

• Ozone Depleting Substances (ODS): Prohibited from providing services or products requiring Class I ODS.
