• The Contractor is responsible for obtaining the services of a professional utility locator to scan the construction site and mark underground utilities. The Contractor must verify the elevations of existing piping, utilities, and any underground obstructions before installing new work.

• The Contractor must notify the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) 48 hours prior to starting excavation work.

• Government-furnished material and equipment will be indicated on drawings and in the scope of work, if applicable.

• Location: Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.

• Protection of Existing Vegetation, Structures, Equipment, Utilities, and Improvements.

• Compliance with all special scheduling requirements as described in the attached project description.

• Request for interruption of Station roads, railroads, and/or utility service must be submitted in writing a minimum of 15 calendar days prior to the desired date of interruption.

• Contractor personnel must be familiar with and obey Activity regulations including safety, fire, traffic, and security regulations.

• Contractor equipment, including delivery vehicles, must be clearly identified with their company name.

• Access to Navy installations may require participation in the Defense Biometrics Identification System (DBIDS) or obtaining One-Day Passes.

• No smoking is permitted within and outside of all buildings on installation, except in designated smoking areas.

• Regular working hours are 0730-1600, Monday through Friday, excluding Government holidays.

• Work outside regular hours requires COR approval with at least 15 calendar days' written notice.

• Utility cutovers and interruptions require coordination a minimum of 14 calendar days prior.

• Contractor shall not operate or disturb control devices in the station utilities system.

• Security requirements include FAR 52.204-2 and FAC 5252.236-9301.

• Emergency Unexploded Ordnance (UXO) response procedures are outlined.

• Contractor personnel performing ground disturbing activities must complete contractor awareness training related to recognizing UXO.

• Parts 2 (Products) and 3 (Execution) are noted as 'Not Used'.
