Scope of Work
The requirement is for approximately 10 composite sandwich panel coupons, each sized around 9.5” x 24” x 1”. These coupons will represent various zones of the E-2D rotodome shell and must include representative in-service defects (e.g., skin to core disbonding, crushed core damage, delamination) and associated repairs. Each coupon will be uniquely marked and constructed with aerospace-grade honeycomb core and pre-impregnated fiber-resin fabric skin. The final set must be kitted in a protective transit case suitable for harsh shipboard and transport environments.
