Statement of Work (SOW)

This Statement of Work outlines the requirements for supplying new Salisbury Lineman's Gloves, accessories, and re-testing services to Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL).

• Supply of new Salisbury Lineman's Gloves, manufactured and tested to current ASTM D120 specifications.

• Specific glove classes, types, lengths, colors (black and red, rotated every six months), and sizes (7-12, including half sizes) are detailed.

• Supply of Leather Protectors (sizes 7-12) and Canvas Bags (sizes 12", 14", 16", 18").

• Re-testing of gloves when requested by the Technical Project Officer (TPO) and when new, unused gloves do not meet the 90-day requirement.

• Gloves and accessories are to be delivered every six months: February 1 and August 1 of each year.

• TPO will provide final quantities 3 months prior to each delivery.

• TPO may place orders between August and February for gloves and accessories.

• No substitution on style or manufacturer is permitted.

• Gloves must be stamped with test date and batch number, appearing on each box.

• Seller must provide Salisbury ISO 9001 Certification and a certification document from Salisbury stating compliance with ASTM D120, 496, and OSHA/NFPA 70E.

• Leather protectors must meet ASTM F696.

• Gloves supplied must not have been in warehouse storage for longer than 90 days.

• Seller must provide documentation stating testing methods and recall procedures.

• Seller will verify quality provisions with the manufacturer before shipping.

• In cases where gloves are not within the 90-day manufacturer date, re-tested unused Salisbury gloves may be used if they meet specific criteria, including NAIL Certification and a Certificate of Compliance. A recall method for re-tested gloves is also required.
