Scope of Work
This requirement involves furnishing all labor, materials, supervision, and equipment to remove approximately 12,000 sq ft of existing rolled carpet from the 1st floor, 2nd floor, and two stairwells. The contractor will also be responsible for moving furniture, including theater seating and bookshelves, as needed. New commercial-grade carpet squares are to be installed, ensuring seamless flow between rooms, with transition strips only where floor surfaces differ. Installation includes placing carpet under existing quarter round (with removal/replacement/repair as necessary) and installing carpet tiles on vertical and horizontal stair surfaces with aluminum stair nosing. Six cases of additional new carpet squares must be provided to the Park. The project must protect historical and archeological fabric.
