S201--MONTHLY CLEANING FOR PHARMACY IV ROOM FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for monthly cleaning services for the Pharmacy IV Room at the Manchester VAMC. The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to perform triple top-down cleaning of pharmacy compounding cleanroom spaces to meet sanitation standards required by VA pharmacy policy and USP 797/800 clean room regulations.

• Perform one (1) monthly cleaning of pharmacy compounding cleanroom spaces (Anteroom, Chemo hood room, IV compounding positive pressure room).

• Total of 12 cleanings per year.

• Cleaning includes ceilings, walls, floors, designated surfaces, exterior of hoods, and equipment using a rotation of Vesphene, LPH, and Peridox.

• Contractor must provide all chemicals, distilled water, personal protective equipment, and cleaning equipment.

• Cleaning typically performed between 1:00 pm and 5:00 pm on weekdays.

• Availability for emergent, off-schedule cleanings (weekdays and weekends) is required.

• Contractor personnel must be trained in USP 797/800 guidelines and disinfection techniques.

• Contractor must provide a Quality Control and Assurance program.

• Base contract with four (4) option years.
