Scope of Work
The contractor will provide annual carpet shampoo and aesthetic cleaning services for approximately 25,000 square feet of carpeted space within the 68,000 net usable square feet facility. Services are to be performed on Saturdays, excluding federal holidays, over a Base Year and four (4) Option Years. Key requirements include using less water to protect carpet glue, applying heavy-duty spot remover as needed, and ensuring uniform appearance free of residues. Contractor personnel must be able to communicate in English, adhere to strict conduct standards (no alcohol, non-prescription drugs, firearms), wear uniforms, and comply with HIPAA and VA security policies (no access to VA IT systems/PHI). All work must adhere to OSHA Safety Regulations.
Contractor Qualifications
Respondents must demonstrate at least two years of experience in carpet cleaning and equipment handling. Personnel must hold IICRC Carpet Cleaning Technicians (CCT) certification. Required skills include technical knowledge of cleaning methods, physical stamina, attention to detail, problem-solving, time management, and safety procedures.

Set-Aside & Registration

If SDVOSB responses are inadequate, other set-asides or full and open competition may be considered. All offerors must be registered in SAM.gov, and SDVOSBs/VOSBs must also be registered with the SBA.
