This is a combined synopsis/solicitation (RFQ) for Mat Service to support the Alexandria VA Medical Center (AVAMC). The requirement is a Total Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set Aside.

• Provision of mat services, including exchange of floor mats and runners every two weeks.

• Mats must be of a quality and condition acceptable to the Alexandria VA Health Care Systems.

• Specific mat types include 43"x6", 3"x10", and 1"x3" floor mats and runners.

• Mats must have smooth backs for tiled areas, gripper backs for carpeted areas, a minimum 3/8" thickness, heavy weight, and be certified slip-resistant.

• Exterior mats must be black with wide trap treads.

• Mats must be heavy traffic, rubber-backed, dirt and moisture trapping pile entrance mats.

• Mats must be laundered and returned in good condition, free of stains, tears, and holes.

• Replacement due to normal wear and tear is at no charge to the customer.

• Contractor must provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, tools, materials, uniforms, supervision, and non-personal services.
