Scope of Work
The contractor will be responsible for the design and construction of Entry Control Facilities/Access Control Points (ECF/ACP) at Northwest Field, Andersen AFB. This includes:
- Demolition of the existing gatehouse and conflicting site features.
- Design and construction of new, blast-rated, cast-in-place concrete structures (UL 752 Level III ballistic protection), including an entry canopy, inspection canopy, central gate house, guard booths, utility building, and an overwatch position.
- Site improvements such as clearing, grading, new serpentine asphalt roadways, parking areas, and traffic islands.
- Installation of active vehicle barriers (AVBs), a sliding crash gate, and passive barriers.
- Overhaul of site utilities, including new electrical distribution with pad-mounted switchgear, manual backup power, wet-pipe automatic fire sprinkler system, mass notification system, LED lighting, and new water/sanitary sewer lines.
- Munitions & Explosives of Concern (MEC) survey and clearance prior to ground disturbance.
