Bales vary in size, with large bales weighing around 1500 lbs and small bales around 600 lbs; loads will be mixed. The property is offered "as is" and "where is," with no warranties.
Terms & Conditions
This is an "ALL or NOTHING" sale. A 20% deposit of the winning proposal is required within 5 calendar days of the contract effective date. The first truckload must be removed within 7 business days, with subsequent removals on an as-needed basis for one year (365 calendar days total). All payments must be made via company/cashier’s check or money order prior to removal. Contractors are responsible for all freight costs and losses and must use a flat-bed or vane-type trailer. Sierra Army Depot will oversee loading and may assist, but only government employees will operate government equipment. Failure to comply with terms will result in default fees and potential barring from future government sales.

Proposals must be submitted per bale on the attached SF 114A-C form. Incomplete bids will not be reviewed. Bids are due by 11:00 AM PST on Thursday, April 23, 2026, and must be submitted electronically via email to starla.a.roberts.civ@army.mil. Questions regarding this opportunity must be submitted via email no later than Thursday, April 16, 2026.
