Interested bidders must complete the attached sales solicitation/agreement, ensuring all fields (signature, date, address, telephone, initials on each page) are filled out. Award will be based on the best price offered, with the QRP reserving the right to reject non-responsive bids.
Logistics & Payment Terms
The awarded bidder is responsible for picking up the recyclable materials and providing transportation, specifically a 53 ft. van trailer. A charge of $18.00 per gaylord box applies. The bidder must secure the load. Pick-up must occur within ten (10) working days of the award date, during Fort Knox QRP shipping hours (7:30 A.M. to 2:30 P.M. EST, Monday through Friday). Payment terms require 80% of the award amount due at pickup, with the balance due within fifteen (15) calendar days from the pick-up date. Payments must be made to the U.S. Treasury Department via bank draft, cashier's check, certified check, traveler's check, or postal money order. The QRP may require 100% payment before product release if bidder solvency cannot be properly vetted.
