The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA 00C), Director of Ocean Engineering/Supervisor of Salvage and Diving, USN (herein referred to as SUPSALV) is responsible for maintaining contracts for commercial sources to supplement the Navy?s salvage, diving, towing, and search and recovery capabilities. To fulfill these requirements several contracts are maintained by SUPSALV. The primary purpose of the Salvage Services Contracts is to provide services to assist in the performance of salvage, salvage-related towing, harbor clearance, heavy-lift, point-to-point towing, and ocean engineering.
