Scope of Work

- Demolition: Removal of approximately 630-650 linear feet of existing 3-inch sanitary main piping beneath the building.
- Installation: Installation of new 4-inch branch lines and a new 6-inch sanitary main. This involves reconnecting 23 toilets, 27 sinks, 6 urinals, 5 floor drains, 8 drinking fountains, and 2 floor sinks, including P-trap installation. The new 6-inch main will extend approximately 230-250 feet to tie into the Augusta Utilities Department (AUD) main.
- Excavation & Tie-In: Excavation for tying the new 6-inch main into the AUD main, adhering to AUD standards, followed by backfill and erosion control matting.
- Restoration: Restoration of all disturbed areas.
Special Requirements
Offerors must comply with applicable plumbing codes, safety standards (OSHA), and local utility requirements (AUD). A critical requirement is the provision and maintenance of temporary restroom and handwashing facilities (minimum 29 portable toilets, 27 handwashing stations) until permanent plumbing is accepted, with pricing for weekly and twice-weekly servicing.
