Scope of Work
The contractor will perform vegetative management services to achieve natural resource goals, including control and eradication of unwanted vegetation and restoration of native plant systems. Key tasks include:
- Tree removal, shearing, trimming, and mowing.
- Herbicide application (spot spraying and broadcast).
- New firebreak creation and maintenance.
- Field disking, harrowing, cultipacking, and various seeding methods (broadcast, native grass/forb drill).
- Prescribed fire operations. The objective is to achieve 96-100% control of targeted vegetation. All work must adhere to safety and environmental protection requirements (EM 385-1-1). Detailed site maps for specific work areas will be provided with individual task orders after contract award.
