SCCAO Fish Counting Bucket Replacement

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or services to procure the replacement of a fish counting bucket for the South Central California Area Office (SCCAO) Tracy Fish Collection Facility (TFCF). The existing bucket, in operation since 1957, requires redesign to improve fish retention, reduce clogging, increase capacity, and enhance operator safety.

• Fabrication of a new fish counting bucket according to specified drawings (863-208-63238, 863-208-63239, 863-208-63240, 863-208-63241).

• Materials to be stainless steel 316L, with welds conforming to AWS D1.6.

• Supply of two (2) spare rubber gaskets for the cone valve, suitable for brackish water and temperatures between 45°F and 80°F (EPDM or equivalent).

• Submission of various documents including drawings, product data, certifications, project schedule, welder certifications, and final drawings.

• Type of Contract: Firm-fixed price purchase order.

• Period of Performance: 180 days from the performance effective date.

• Quote Due Date: July 01, 2026, by 3:00 p.m. PDT.

• Evaluation Factors: Award will be based on a comparative evaluation of Technical Approach, Past Performance, Prior Experience, and Price.

• This acquisition is set-aside 100 percent for Small Business concerns only. Large businesses may not submit a quote.

• Quotes must be valid for 60 days from the due date.

• All payments will be processed through the Invoice Processing Platform (IPP).
