Solicitation / RFP / RFQ

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items, issued as a Request For Quotation (RFQ). The 82d Contracting Squadron is procuring a Scotchman Model FI 8510-20M Ironworker.

The requirement includes the following Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs):

• CLIN 0001: FI 8510-20M 230V/3/60 IW (1 EA)
• CLIN 0002: FI LASER INSTALLED (1 EA)
• CLIN 0003: 2" SCH. 40 PIPE DIES (1 EA)
• CLIN 0004: #40/82 ROUND P AND D PACK (32ND) (1 EA)
• CLIN 0005: #40/82 DELUXE P AND D PACKAGE (1 EA)
• CLIN 0006: FI85/FI125 12" BRAKE PACKAGE (1 EA)
• CLIN 0007: FI85/FI125 PIPE NOTCHER PACKAGE (1 EA)

This requirement will be procured as a brand name, and substitute items will be considered.

• Place of Delivery/Performance/Acceptance/FOB Point: F.O.B. Destination; Sheppard AFB, TX 76311. The exact address will be provided upon award.

• Questions are due no later than 31 March 2026 at 1200 CST.

• Quotes must be submitted via email to the Points of Contact (POCs) and Contracting Officer no later than the established deadline.

• Quotes must be valid for 90 days.

• All price quotations must be submitted via the table provided in the solicitation. Supplemental technical submissions must be on a separate document.

• Evaluation will be based on the best value to the Government, considering price and other factors. The primary evaluation factor is Technical Capability to Meet the Government's Requirement.

• This acquisition is set aside 100% for Small Business Concerns.

• The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 333517, with a Small Business Size Standard of 500 Employees.

• Provisions and clauses are included by full text or reference, available at http://www.acquisition.gov. Attachment 1 contains Provisions and Clauses.

• An Ombudsman is available to address concerns. Contact information is provided for the Contracting Officer, Alternate Contracting Officer, and the Air Force Ombudsman.
