Scope of Sale

Buyers are responsible for providing DOT-approved transportation, ensuring containment, cleaning up any spillage, and securing the load.
Eligibility & Requirements
Bidders must be United States citizens and eligible to obtain export licenses from the Department of State, Department of Commerce, or Office of Foreign Assets Control. Buyers are required to report suspected instances of fraud, abuse, theft, or violations of U.S. export laws. Buyers assume all liability for potential dangerous substances and any damages or injuries arising from the material's purchase, use, or disposition.
Submission & Award
Bids must be received by June 11, 2026, at 2:00 PM EST. Submissions can be mailed, faxed, emailed, or hand-delivered to the GF Department, Public Works Division at MCB Camp Lejeune, NC. Award will be made to the highest responsive and responsible bidder. In the event of equal highest bids, a drawing will determine the awardee.
Payment & Pick-up
A 50% deposit by certified or company check (payable to the U.S. Treasury) is required prior to pick-up. The remaining balance will be invoiced after material collection and must be paid within fifteen (15) days. The successful bidder must contact MCB CAM LEJ-QRP within 4 business days of award to arrange payment and pick-up. Pick-up will occur Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM, excluding Federal holidays, at the Material Recycling Facility, Bldg. 978, MCB Camp Lejeune.
Additional Notes
Base access requires a one-day pass, and haulers must present a valid driver's license, registration, and proof of insurance, preferably with a Real ID or three forms of identification. Environmental considerations include potential on-site inspections for hazardous property.
