• Bidders must be United States citizens eligible to obtain export licenses.

• Buyers are cautioned that articles or substances of a dangerous nature may remain in the property. The Government assumes no liability for damages or injury arising from the purchase, use, or disposition of this material.

• Buyers must provide trucks that are DOT approved and possess control devices to prevent spillage.

• Buyers must comply with DOT containment requirements, DOT vehicle and weight transportation requirements, and all applicable safety, fire, environment, and OSHA laws, rules, and regulations.

• Buyers are responsible for cleanup of all spillages.

• Buyers must secure the load, which is their sole responsibility.

• The property is sold by weight.

• A 50% deposit by certified or company check is required prior to pick-up.

• The remaining balance will be invoiced and must be paid within fifteen (15) days of receipt of the invoice.

• The agreement may be terminated for default or convenience by MCB CAMLEJ-QRP.

• Bids must be received by June 10, 2026, at 2:00pm EST.

• Bids may be mailed, faxed, emailed, or hand-delivered to the GF Department, Public Works Division at MCB Camp Lejeune, NC.

• The Government reserves the right to reject any or all bids.

• Award will be made to the highest responsive and responsible bidder.

• In case of equal highest bids, award will be made by drawing.

• By signing the bid, the buyer guarantees its bid price until material is removed.

• Buyer must be a United States citizen.

• Buyer must be eligible to obtain Department of State, Department of Commerce, or Office of Foreign Assets Control export licenses.

• Haulers must obtain a one-day pass for installation access and provide a valid driver's license, registration, and proof of insurance. New regulations for base access are referenced.

• Inspection of the property is invited prior to bidding; call 910-451-4214 to schedule an appointment.

• Material is stored at the Camp Lejeune Recycling Facility on Piney Green Road, MCB Camp Lejeune.

• Delivery within a 75-mile radius is possible, or pick-up at Bldg. 978 Piney Green Rd.

• Collection of the commodity will occur between 8:00am - 1:00pm, Monday - Thursday, excluding Federal holidays.

• Bill of Lading will document quantity removed.

• Successful bidder shall weigh transport vehicle(s) before leaving MCB LEJ-QRP at the Landfill scales.

• MCB CAMLEJ-QRP is committed to environmental protection; high bidder's premises may be subject to an on-site inspection.
