This project is to replace analog ICU and MICU observation cameras which were installed over 10 years ago and are aging and in some instances failing. This system of cameras needs to be replaced and upgraded to an IP-based camera system. Nineteen cameras need to be replaced with Avigilon brand name or equivalent ceiling cameras at the Seattle VA Medical Center. We would like to place the order for these by mid to late January, 2026 with camera installation 45 days ARO.
The salient characteristics are as follows:
(compatible with Avigilon H6A cameras and Cisco 1300 Catalyst switches)
- Switch must have 16 ports with full PoE+ capability (at least 240W power budget) and 10/100/1000 Base-T and 2 Gigabit SFP ports
- Switch must have 24 ports with full PoE+ capability (at least 375W power budget) and 10/100/1000 Base-T and 4 Gigabit SFP ports
- CCTV cameras with a minimum of 4MP
- CCTV cameras must be IR capable for low-light conditions
- Cameras must be compatible with Avigilon version 7 system (existing hospital infrastructure is Avigilon v7)
- Must include Avigilon software licenses for each camera
- Must comply with VA cybersecurity regulations
