Scope of Work
The contractor shall provide a secure exchange data software solution with the following capabilities:
- Connectivity to Medicare DDE/FISS for claims status, payment details, and reports.
- Eligibility verification for Medicaid, Medicare, and other third-party payers (anticipated 100 checks/month).
- Capability to search eligibility for patients without insurance information (anticipated 1000 searches/month).
- Third-party insurance medical claims validation, approval, and processing via a clearinghouse for various payers (anticipated 2,500 submissions/month).
- Processing of all claim types (professional, facility, emergency, inpatient, outpatient, specialty clinics) and provision of solicited/unsolicited claims status (anticipated 1000 checks/month).
- Rigorous claims rules and custom business rules.
- Self-monitoring usage of services for thresholds.
- Training and support (on-site or teleconference).
Technical Constraints & Compliance:
- No contractor software installation required on CRHC or IHS networks.
- Data exchange via Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP).
- Support for Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) transactions and interactive Telnet.
- Unlimited, workstation-independent user access.
- Compliance with HIPAA, Privacy Act of 1974, and other federal regulations.
- Conformity to a Business Associate Agreement.
