Key Requirements & Facility Standards

- Emergency Response: Maximum 4 hours for local emergency requests.
- Security & Compliance: Verifiable chain-of-custody, audit trail, TAA compliant equipment. Contractor personnel must be bonded, licensed, and insured. Vehicles must be insured and secured.
- Facility Specifications: Climate-controlled (60-70°F), highly protected, TAA compliant. Must be located away from 100-year flood plains, known fault lines, and areas with high crime/fire risk. 100% fire suppression coverage. Storage sites must be at least 20 miles from Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC) or on a different electrical grid, and accessible to major commercial centers.
