The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), through its Middle East District, is evaluating the interest and ability of businesses to construct a Secure Storage Facility (SSF). The SSF includes a single-story open storage warehouse for Critically Controlled Assets (CCA) and a single-story US Government (USG) SSF manager administration facility with electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and intrusion detection systems. The intrusion detection system (IDS) includes a dedicated secure communication line to the existing RJAF Combined Defense Operations Center (CDOC) and conduits that connect into the USG Communication Manhole in the vicinity of the RJAF CDOC. *****This announcement seeks information from industry, which will be used for preliminary planning purposes.
