The plate carriers must meet NIJ Standard 0101.06, with gender-specific fits and ballistic inserts. Key design requirements include plate pockets for E-SAPI and soft armor, antimicrobial treated padded spacer mesh for breathability, a reinforced drag handle, and full modularity with MOLLE/PALS webbing. Cut-away systems are not permitted. All carriers must be Black, fade-resistant, scratch-resistant, water-resistant, and hand washable. Compliance with DFARS 252.225-7012 is required.
