Scope of Work

The contractor will provide certified Security System Technicians for the installation, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of access control, Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV), and alarm systems across various MEDCoE facilities. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing one full-time and one part-time onsite technician.
  • Ensuring 95% functionality of the security system infrastructure, hardware, and software.
  • Supporting existing and future CCTV, access control, and alarm systems.
  • Providing 24/7 after-hours support with a two-hour response time for emergency service requests.
  • Maintaining system drawings, testing schedules, and Uninterrupted Power Supplies (UPS) infrastructure.
  • Performing software updates and installing government-procured equipment.
  • Conducting manufacturer-recommended periodic services, inspections, and tests.
  • Providing personnel for after-duty hours, weekend, and holiday repairs impacting Joint Base San Antonio - Fort Sam Houston Fire and Safety standards.

Personnel Requirements

Contractor personnel must have a minimum of two years of experience with enterprise-level electronic security systems and hold certifications for CCTV, OCULARIS, OPEN OPTIONS, DNA FUSION, and Hanwha Wisenet WAVE VMS. Knowledge of Cisco switches and Dell Video Servers is also required. Employees must complete AT Level I, DoD Information Assurance Awareness, and OPSEC Level I training. A Position of Trust background investigation (SF85P) is mandatory for LAN access.
