Purpose
The primary objective is to secure evaluation calibration services for accelerometers to ensure the continued operational readiness of vibration measurement systems and related Test and Measurement Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) for the Navy Calibration Standards Program.
Scope of Work
Accredited calibration services are required for specific accelerometer models:
- Model 353B04 (Primary Accelerometer): Calibration range of 5 Hz to 20 kHz, utilizing laser interferometry.
- Model Q353B51 (Low-Frequency Transfer Standard): Calibration range of 0.1 Hz to 4000 Hz.
The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary labor, equipment, and materials. Calibration certificates and data must be provided electronically, and the contractor must notify the Government of any out-of-tolerance conditions. Services must be completed within 60 days after contract award. The Place of Performance is To Be Determined (TBD).
