Scope of Work

The Government seeks vendors capable of providing comprehensive swimming pool maintenance services for the Micah Walker Training Tank located on Fleming Key, Key West, Florida. Required services include:

  • Routine Pool Cleaning: Vacuuming, scrubbing, skimming, brushing, backwashing, and filter cleaning.
  • Chemical Testing and Management: Ensuring proper chemical balance (chlorine, pH, alkalinity, acid), regular cyanuric acid and TDS tests, and maintaining a 3-week supply of critical chemicals on-site.
  • Pump System Maintenance: Routine inspections, flow rate verification, impeller inspections, Stenner injection system servicing, and ensuring heat pumps and air compressors are fully functional. Repairs exceeding $500 require immediate COR notification.
  • Emergency Services: On-site response within 48 hours for critical issues (visibility, biological safety) and general service communication response within 2 working days.
  • Safety and Environmental Compliance: Adherence to OSHA, Army Corps of Engineers, and relevant local, state, and federal regulations, with immediate corrective action for chemical spills.
  • Special Equipment Maintenance: Servicing the Paddock Regenerator with degreasing every 6 months and annual demineralization.

Vendors must provide weekly, bi-monthly, and annual maintenance services and submit comprehensive electronic invoices detailing chemical usage, technician details, and equipment health.
