Quick Summary
The Department of the Air Force is soliciting quotes for a brand name Shark Refrigerant Reclaimer (Part Number: SHARK-230-134A, NSN 4250-01-658-3113) to support F-22 aircraft maintenance at Edwards AFB, CA. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside acquisition. Quotes are due April 2, 2026, at 12:00 PM PST.
Scope of Work
This combined synopsis/solicitation seeks to acquire a SHARK R-134a Refrigerant Reclaimer for maintaining Polyalphaolefin (PAO) Liquid Coolant Carts used with F-22 aircraft. The requirement is for a specific brand due to its unique, proprietary "single-pass" reclamation technology, certified by AHRI to clean R134a refrigerant to the ARI 700 standard. The current USAF unit (BV-300-1) is obsolete, making the SHARK-230-134A the standard replacement.
