Scope of Work
The contractor shall provide non-personal engineering, technical, and system implementation and improvement services for MSC's Engineering Maintenance Management Systems (EMMS), both shipboard and shore-side. Key services include:
- Maintenance Engineering Services: Support for government maintenance management information systems (e.g., SAMM, LES, PENG), data, and hardware globally.
- Condition Based Monitoring (CBM) Technology Support: Development, sustainment, and analysis of CBM technologies integrated into SAMM, covering vibration, used lube oil, diesel engine combustion, water chemistry, and fuel oil analysis.
- Shipboard Testing and Inspection Services: Technical management, administrative services, and troubleshooting for tests and inspections onboard MSC ships (e.g., vibration, thermographic, machinery surveys).
- System Installation, Sustainment, and Data Management: Installation, maintenance, and data management for SAMM and related systems, including data conversion and entry.
- Training: Development and delivery of training courses for MSC personnel on engineering software and technical subjects.
