The contractor shall procure all materials and complete repairs and upgrades to the existing Royal Saudi Naval Forces (RSNF) shiplift system at the King Abdulaziz Naval Base (KANB), as described within this PWS. The contractor shall ensure the repairs completed for this requirement result in a complete and useable shiplift and transfer platform system. The shiplift system is comprised of a drydocking platform that utilizes wire ropes driven by hydraulic winches to lift ships from the water for maintenance purposes. The transfer platform uses a recessed pit to move ships laterally across the shipyard and is driven by a tow vehicle. The contractor shall procure, and in some cases install, the parts/materials listed in the attached appendices. The contractor is also responsible for performing a system-wide condition inspection and perform general repairs to the shiplift facility as identified and approved by the Government. The contractor shall provide all manpower, tools, and equipment required to complete any repairs or part installations.
